If you are here,
not merely passing through
from post to post,
You light up my life.
(Back to say: Edit that. This message is for anyone I’m lucky enough to call a friend. I realize not everyone can sing or dance at every party. If you are here, that’s all I need. I know you’re out there.)
Happy First Night of Chanukah.
We share words.
They are the light.
Great miracles happen here.

Oh, just reading this. I love Chanukah. We taught Holidays Around the World for geography and culture. It was fun in Dec. to learn about other cultures, their traditions, history. I like embracing others. I love latkes! I love strength and purpose and love and light. I love being respectful and knowledgeable, but mainly those latkes! And dreidel is great fun, too.
Trying to post but it doesn’t seem to be taking words from my iPhone.
Funny you like latkes.
I do not.
I miss celebrating Chanukah with my children. Joyful memories.
